What is Purified Water at ActiveH2o?
Purified water may originate from either a spring, surface or groundwater source or directly from the tap. It simply doesn’t matter. Since the purification process is designed to remove virtually all types of impurities, the quality of the source water has little bearing on the quality of the final product. We purify that water extensively and literally remove more than 99.5% of all incoming impurities. A properly designed and functioning purification system will produce extremely high purity water every time, regardless of variations in the source water’s quality. This is not true of spring water, tap water, or filtered water. For this reason, purified water is viewed as the objective benchmark against which the purity of other waters is judged. Read More >
What is Alkaline Water at ActiveH2o?
Alkaline water is rich in alkalizing minerals including Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium, Bicarbonate and other trace minerals which increase the PH. The definition of PH is the measure of Acidity or Alkalinity of water-soluble substances. The range of measurement goes from 0 PH to 14 PH with 0 being the lowest and considered the most acidic, and 14 being the highest and considered the most Alkaline. A measure of PH 7.0 is considered neutral. Alkaline water typically ranges from PH 8.0 up to PH 9.0.

Water that is “naturally” Alkaline occurs when water flows down a mountain stream and passes over the minerals in the rocks and soil allowing the water to “ naturally absorb “ the minerals available as it flows over and through the natural formations. Read More >
City Tap Water Issues
All drinking water is the same,... Right?

Less than 3% of the world's water is fresh and only one-third of that is drinkable — in other words, although the Earth is mostly covered with water we can only drink the barest 1% of it.

Water will frequently contain some impurities since minerals and contaminants are absorbed from surrounding structures. Some are minor contaminants, the ones that make water a bit dirty, discolored, or smelly. Read More >
Disposable Bottled Water Issues
Many bottled water brands boast 99% filtration but at what cost to the consumer and to the planet? Plastic waste has been a rising environmental issue over the past decades as bottled water sales have increased. It takes hundreds of years for plastic waste to naturally decompose, which has caused landfill overflows and a direct negative impact on ocean life. Active H2O considers it a privilege to help mitigate this negative environmental impact and feels we all have an obligation to reduce our plastic waste to ensure our future generations can enjoy this beautiful planet God had created.
